As previously noted, best access would be during slack tide. We stayed for two nights. With the location being so close to downtown Portsmouth there is so much to see (Strawberry Banke, Prescott Park gardens and events, shopping and dining. Turbulence of the Piscataqua River was nowhere near as bad as we expected, except with the wakes from the boaters during the day. Dave was very helpful with guiding us in and handling the lines, and was a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. Would definitely stop there again.

We stayed here for two nights on our transit from Buffalo, NY and the service and facility were outstanding and the surrounding area was very nice! Dave went out of his way on service, even taking my wife to the local grocery store to provision the boat. Pricing on the diesel fuel was very competitive with what we had been seeing on our transit. Will definitely stop in again on future trips!

This is a private island, but beach access is allowed. Some days you may even see the steer come down into the water to cool off!

Everyone at the marina was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to use their vehicle to get provisions. Stormy Bay Marine who also operates out of the same facility was great. Had a leaking exhaust boot and after changing the clamps to no avail, they found the sleeve in the assembly was cracked. They had a custom stainless steel sleeve fabricated and installed the following day; problem solved! Great group of people and highly recommend for service work. Marina has nice docks and utilities (except no internet service).
