Good anchorage and holding. A lot of boats use the anchorage (instead of the channel) to get in and out so can be moving in and out beside you all day. We were here a few nights and, after two days, had a warning notice stuck to the boat by the harbor master. Apparently we were too close to the USNA, which seemed odd as others were closer and we'd been there a couple days already. Regardless, we moved and picked up a mooring ball right nearby. Call the harbor master for the code to the new trailer toilets and showers. There are also laundry machines newly installed but not operational yet. Easy dinghy dock. Great place!

I anchor in 15' of water. If your near the shore it will be near 30' so it's easier to anchor up north. You can go ashore with a dinghy in many dinghy dock. The laundromat and propane refill is at 40 minutes walk. Expect to walk a lot or take a taxi.

Was here for the fall boat shows. We had a great spot near green can 1SC. Great holding in 13’. Close to the dinghy docks in Annapolis.

From the South Anchorage - Water taxi or dinghy access to city dock and the heart of historic downtown Annapolis with lots to do. Very busy harbor in the summer, but a great place to visit for a day or longer. Deep water with good holding. No wind protection from some directions.
