We anchored here to take a tour of Mt. Harmon Plantation. Nice place to take a very quiet tour. (My wife and I were the only ones there at the time). Very scenic. The location is a bit exposed to the southwest, as you can't go that far up the creek due to shallows.

We are able to sneak into the creek with our centerboard up and 4-ft draft. Very nice and sheltered. We took the dinghy to Turner Creek Park, hiked around the trails, very nice to have a leisurely afternoon on a fall day with the leaves in full color, then pop back to the boat and grill some salmon in a very quiet spot. Very peaceful and soothing.

Great spot, fantastic property with open views out on the Patapsco, nice beach, pool, clubhouse, fuel, and sheltered marina behind the point at entrance to Rock Creek. Very nice stop, or place to keep your boat.

Good stop, long way up the Chester River, but worth it. Cruising up the river at sailboat speed makes you feel like you are in another world. Fun to walk around the town, poke in shops and get a meal.

Nice sheltered anchorage if you have shoal draft. Good holding and protection. We've stayed here multiple times. Took our dinghy to one of the marinas for a day fee, which allowed us use of marina bikes, pool, restrooms. Fun to bike into the little town and poke in shops and get a nice meal at The Blue Heron restaurant.

We have stayed here a couple times at the end of the Race to Cambridge. Nice folks and nice facility. We had dinner in the club taking advantage of reciprocity with our home club. Good food, nice service, comfortable atmosphere. It was a convenient walk to see the town as well.

We stayed here 2 years in a row when we came down to do the Screwpile Regatta. Members couldn't be nicer. Very convenient spot on the strip across from the boardwalk. Close enough to walk to the Calvert Museum which is worth the stop. Good restaurants nearby, and West Marine is not far. Great stop.

This is a private smaller YC, members treated us very well as visiting transients from a reciprocal club on the Bay. Very soothing small-town eastern shore style feel, great location at the northern tip of the Bay. Stayed there end of season fall cruising for a couple nights, took the dinghy up to the town of North East, Md to poke around in a couple shops, have lunch and dinner, enjoy nice weather and scenery. On the 2nd night we had a good dinner at the club. The club let us use bikes to ride around the local neighborhood. If your draft accommodates, this is definitely a worthwhile stop to see the northern extremity of the Bay.
