Great stop after the flight locks Easy docking and a Farmers’ Market on Sunday. Very friendly staff and a welcome rest at the end of the day. The bathrooms are locked and clean and the area is very boater friendly!

Two different heights for docking - 1 high and 1 low. There is power and water, there is a charge of $2 p/foot. We got there on Thursday evening when the water ski show was practicing and the wakes from the ski boat was relentless. Once the show was over the water calmed down. The town is small with a few restaurants. There is a bakery within walking distance to the wall that has great pastries and cookies. The pedestrian walking path is excellent - take it across the canal and find the Amsterdam Castle - a boutique hotel. We got a self guided tour and found it absolutely wonderful. It is a good stop for an evening.

This was a great stop while waiting out weather to cross Lake Oneida. The staff was very helpful with fueling and tying up. The ship store has parts, filters, and charts plus lots more. They have mechanics and are very easy to work with. A good place to wait out weather or to rest for a day or so …

A great stop along the canal. The welcome center was staffed and very helpful. The power/water were updated and the waterfront has a very "park-like" feel to it. The bathrooms - CLEAN! They had free laundry. The town is very walkable. Several restaurants, a great brewery, pizza, hardware, close to a gas/diesel station, 2 large grocery stores within walking distance (1 mile). Overall a great stop! The city seems committed to having this be a pleasant stay for boaters and it shows!

Nice spot to stop. Updated power/water. It was a short walk into town. Not many options for dining but the stop was worth it. The Jail and Sheriff's Residence Museum was great. The guide was knowledgeable and very personable. You get to see the old jail and hear some of the history and then go behind the museum and tour a carriage house full of interesting antiques. The museum was worth the stop over for the 2 hours we spent here! Check out the museum!

Great stop along the wall just east of Lock 26. No power or water but a pretty spot to spend the night. Nice grassy area to sit out and enjoy the evening. The Lock Master was very kind and gave us a mini tour of the lock.

First, let me start by saying that the welcome center is staffed by very nice people! They were kind and helpful and we can't say enough good things about them. Unfortunately, Brockport seems to be struggling with a homeless problem. There were tents right beside where the boats dock - we saw people all throughout the day and night going through the trash looking for cans. There was drinking at the picnic tables right beside the boats and other very inappropriate activities occurring right on the sidewalk. This would not be a place for families with or without children! I appreciate what Brockport is trying to do but I would not stay here again.
