Nice overnight and day ancorage in 30 feet of water, beyond the drop-off there is good mud bottom. This area is VERY popular with locals on weekends as several dozens of boats will anchor in the shallow water near the shore. There is a lot of boat traffic on the weekends and evenings.
Good wind protection from the west.

Nice marina. Expensive. They close the very nice lounge at 7pm. The whole marina is subject to minor rocking and rolling from wind driven waves that get into Betsie Lake and perhaps an occasional boat wake - but every marina in this harbor will have that. Nice four point tie up. Natural gas grills by slips but take forever to heat up. Great staff.

Very nice scenery of bay with 75 foot high cottage lined bluff to protect from west winds. Great holding with mud bottom. WARNING - shallow water for 300 yards or so east and north of green can inside While Lake.
