The little cove backs up to a quite boater friendly waterfront neighborhood. We looked for wind protection from S & SW. It was good though not perfect. You will get a little wake from various boaters in main channel but nothing messy. Also try cove under the bridge, plenty of clearance, it looks like a good wind break, though more boaters in and out.

We went past the 20 foot bridge and anchored in the bayou in 14 feet. Park on the South shore.
