Description:
Traveling south enter Dutchman Creek just past Green Daybeacon #5 on the east (ICW north) side of the creek for deeper water. 5.5 feet at the mouth of the creek but 10 feet further up. Mud/Sand Some tidal current, narrow enough that two anchors is a good idea. Wake protection from all directions. Mild wind protection from the northeast, exposed to wind (marsh) in all other directions.

We did not love this anchorage. It took us a couple tries to find a good spot with enough swing room. Luckily, we were the only boat there. We anchored in the middle of the channel. The current was strong and we saw gusts up to 20ish knots. We held in place after the anchor was set. It was very narrow and I was up every hour checking our position.

We stopped here at night & it was a very nice anchorage but we couldn't get the anchor to grab so we continued on to Holden beach! Will try again but before dark!
