Mariners are advised that the Route 13 Bridge, over Point Pleasant Canal in Ocean County, New Jersey, will be maintained in the closed-to-navigation position for mechanical maintenance from January 5, 2026, through February 28, 2026. Vessels able to safely navigate in the closed-to-navigation position may do so at any time. The bridge will not be able to open for emergencies during the closure period.
Mariners are advised to plan their transits accordingly and exercise caution when navigating in the vicinity of the bridge. Mariners may contact the bridge tender via VHF-FM channels 13 or 16 for assistance or additional information. At all other times, the bridge will operate in accordance with Title 33 CFR Part 117.733(c). Mariners are advised to exercise caution and plan their transits accordingly. MSI # 32599.
