Noteworthy:
The entrance to Matagorda Harbor is on the north side of the ICWW at Texas mile 440, .7 statute miles east of the FM 2031 bridge. It is eight statute miles up the channel for vessels entering from the Gulf of Mexico at the Colorado River Jetties.
