For those of you looking for a place to stay in Belhaven, NC, I would recommend Dowry Creek Marina. Easy in and out. Super helpful dock hands and many amenities. They have new owners (Scott and Nikki) who are working to get everything updated. We met 5 different employees during our stay and all went above and beyond to make our time there comfortable. Here is a list of what is or has been done so far… Courtesy car-they have a mini van you can use for provisioning. It's clean and easy to drive to the local grocery. Bathrooms were clean and towels are provided. Laundry currently has 2 washers and 1 dryer. They are getting more to replace the ones that were broken. Oh and they're FREE! Captain's Lounge has great views and is a comfortable area to relax. Ship's Store has many items available and they will have beer and wine as soon as their alcohol license is in place. They offer IN SLIP fuel and pump out. They have multiple recycling stations that also include used oil. There is a grill station set up with different types of grills you can use. They offer propane fill ups as well. Docks are fixed but in very good shape. Note: there is a heated pool on site that they have drained for cleaning and maintenance. They expect to have it back open soon. There is also a restaurant on site but it is closed for renovations. My guess is the restaurant will be several months down the road. The marina is very pet friendly as well with a ton of green space and a large field to let your doggies run.

Nice quiet marina with a helpful, friendly staff. Restaurant serves up a nice steak and has a full bar. Cozy clubhouse with a tv and clean showers. (towels provided)

Adequate Marina. Family owned, docks maintained, restaurant on site. Pool never crowded. Restrooms and laundry were average, clean. Dog friendly, nice owners. Easy in and out with great dockside assistance. We stayed in Bellhaven on our way north and loved the town. This is a great alternative if you've already seen the town. They advertised a loaner car, but it isn't in service anymore.

Nice docks, restrooms, staff, boaters lounge and restaurant onsite. Docks can be exposed to some wind if in the right direction. Would stay again. Also a pool that wasn't open yet.
