This is probably the 4th winter when we've spent weeks or months at the Beaufort Town docks. With the management change things are in flux and it is still a bit of a construction zone with parking lots dug up and docks powerwashed (probably not a good idea !). We really missed dealing with Mike since we appreciate his sense of edgy humor and miss him as a real friend. Jacob made us feel at home as soon as we got there and we appreciated the monthly rate Lori gave us after Tony Frost at Homer Smith quoted us $3000 per month in the off season.! The new loaner car arrangement seems like a winner. Sorry Bob, we ended up not filling up as we never took the third trip we expected to take. In addition to Jacob we really want to thank Bob and Sara. They did a great job working without an office as the office was being rebuilt.

Marina offers courtesy car for errands. Beaufort is an adorable town with lovely neighborhoods with modest houses. Along the waterfront, larger homes with covered porches and well-kept gardens. Town has an abundance of good restaurant choices.

Great location for shops and restaurants but way overpriced for amenities offered. It was one of the more expensive marinas we have stayed at. The restroom facilities were in pretty bad shape. No security on the docks . Doubtful if we will return.

Just spent a couple of nights at the Beaufort Docks. Super friendly staff, very professional. Location can't be beat. We had restaurants, shops and museums to our port side and dolphins and beautiful scenery to our starboard. We paid $2.50 per ft. Look forward to returning we will stay here again.

Great location to beautiful little town. Wildly overpriced ($3.75/ft plus $25/day 50amp) for what you get. No security. Public laundry across the street, $3.50wash/$2dry. Easy to bike around town. Courtesy car only for 1hr, they seem very concerned about time. Friends stayed at Homer Smith, would likely do that next time, cheaper but 3 blocks out of town.
