Jerry’s Place
- Lat / Lon: N 45° 14.989' / W 080° 12.275'
- Description:
There is a rock ridge between the two islands. Stay away from the middle. Only 3' water at one rock. The rest are 5' or more. Drop anchor in 20' and back over the shallow. This puts your boat back over deeper water. Mud and rocks hold you. Anchor comes up easy by pulling forward over where you dropped. Very quiet and protected. Little wake from the navigation channel. Can swim to the rocks to the north.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
