Only stayed one night, but enjoyed my stay very much. Beautiful grounds, clean and very well taken care of. Reminds me of a home port marina where you know everyone and they are real people. Thanks for having me!!

I ducked in here during a severe rain storm hoping to find shelter. It was a S&*& show!! Vulcan 33lb had to be reset 4 times in 14 hrs, current, wind and rain had the boat setting 90 degrees to the chain. Also agree with previous review, depths were deeper than the chart and scattered around. Maybe the storm, maybe me...but I would not advise using this for anything but lunch.

Torn on this one..first, the marina is run as professionally as you could get, it also is quite large. The dockhands, the office staff, the drivers everyone was helpful and professional. The marina itself was very clean and well layed out. I would not hesitate to stay again, except for......I was on the end of the new super dock and the wakes from the big boats and passing ferries would shake the entire floating dock and chuck my boat around like a bath toy...like 5 feet high for about 30 seconds. This isn't SHCC fault at all but placement of where you got and what day should be taken into account.

Stayed on a friday and saturday night. Finally got my anchor to bite and it held steady for both nights. Anchor close to the bridge and the ICW as the depth can change in an instant, I found 7 foot was about where I ended up. On saturday it was like a boat parade...must of counted 300 boats passing everywhere, however calmed way down at night except for a few fishermen.
