Anchorage Review for Boston Bar

Anchored in about 6 feet of water about midway between the channel and the wingdam. Used 75 feet of anchor rode. Current held us mid-stream and we held perfectly all night. Minimal wake from the barge traffic. Minimal noise from the highway bridge. Would definitely reccomend for a safe anchorage.

If you don't like great friendly service, don't come here. The owners and their family are so friendly. Communication via text was great. Mary Frances texted pictures in advance so it was easy to know exactly where to go. We got stuck at some locks longer than we planned for and came in later and they were more than happy to help us with our fuel (diesel). Very helpful with the lines. Local Bar and Grill a short walk up the hill.
