November 2025. This was an excellent anchorage. Dropped the anchor in 12 feet of water closer to the bridge than marked. Holding was excellent and the anchor came up with just a slight bit of mud. A bit of local boat traffic created a few wakes but otherwise very peaceful and quiet. Shore access was easy with the dogs at the beach area beside the fishing pier. Take the dinghy under the bridge to access Doc's Oyster Bar from the water for delicious food and live music.

We docked at Aqua Yacht for a week during October 2025. Randy and his team were spectacular. Upon our arrival, Randy reached out with all of the marina information and then checked in on us daily while walking the docks. He made it a point to address all boaters by name which is no small task considering the number of Loopers coming and going on a daily basis. He was organized - knowing how many boats were coming and going each day and making sure everyone knew their slip assignments. The docks were well cared for as well as the facilities. The showers and restrooms were clean, the workout room was small but provided plenty of equipment, and there were several courtesy cars. Amazon packages and other deliveries were labeled and placed in the maintenance shop for pick up and we even had a prop shipped in. As an extra bonus, the restaurant on site (Earl's) has a great atmosphere, delicious food, cold drinks and free pork rinds. All in all, this was a great stop for us on our loop!

This was a nice anchorage. A bit of trouble getting the anchor to bite in 14 ft and the boat was swinging so we tied a stern line to a vine. That worked perfectly. South shore is deeper than north. Very small sandy landing at entrance from the river for a dinghy if need to get a pet to land which worked for us. Very well protected from wind and wake further in and peaceful. Oct 2025

This was a wonderful stop along the St. Lawrence. It was a mid point on our route from St. Ours to Montreal and the weather was predicted to get turbulent. It is in a well protected channel and all boats are tied in line with the current! The people were wonderful to include Lucie who helped us make the reservation on the phone and Stephane who gave us excellent and very specific docking instructions before catching our lines upon arrival! The marina is gated and they provide a key for entry as well as to the restrooms and shower. We would definitely stay here again!

This club offers mooring balls available for reservation on Dockwa. All in it was about $60 per night for Loopers. Our mooring ball was close to a public boat ramp which was convenient for walking the dogs - but not useful during high tide as the dock to shore goes underwater. The club did offer a dinghy dock which was great when we wanted to go to town. We didn't really use the club facilities at all, but they are beautiful. We were told by a member that they are rebuilding after storm damage. The absolute BEST part of this dockage was the tender service. Gina and Gunnar were the two tender operators and they deserve 10 stars!
