Easily one of the most beautiful and well kept marinas in the entire Great Lakes. The bathrooms are amazing. The slips, power, water are in excellent condition. The channel coming in off of Lake Michigan can be a little challenging to find until you are close. There's a couple of very good restaurants, as well as, lots of shopping. The only negative I can think of is, if you are at the end of the dock, it's a very long walk to the harbor master office. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there will be generally two of them to help you with lines, etc. You are close to Petoskey in one direction and Charlevoix in the other direction. Easily reached with bicycles. And what I found amazing is that there are NO Spiders or bugs really of any kind.

Great spot right downtown. The marina is very well cared for. The docks are wide and in good shape. The docks are also well lit at night with motion detecting lights. The power issues others mentioned are fixed !! We had no issues whatsoever. Joe the dockmaster was very nice and helpful. They have 1 washer and dryer, a little pricy though at 2$ a wash and 2$ a dry. The bathrooms were very clean, we didn't use the showers. We went to the Shamrock bar which is legendary in these parts, and had a very nice lunch. The whitefish Ruben was excellent. We also went to the Beaver Island Lodge, which is more fine dining and very good. McDonough's market is good for provisioning. They have pretty much anything that you will need for the most part. They also have a good meat counter. All in all we had a very nice stay and will definitely be back.

Allways a favorite place to stay. They put us on the dock that leads to all the other slips which was very snug getting in, not my fav spot for sure but we made it happen. The staff is great, very helpful with lines and such. The bathrooms and showers were good and very clean. Although VERY hard water. Do NOT fill your water tanks here. The town has lots of great shops and a few restaurants. The "Cove" is a must visit, they are very busy and a bit pricy. If you like smoked fish as well as fresh, Carlsons is the place for both. We always enjoy our stay here. Great sunsets !!

Nice marina with a very accommodating harbor master. They have a really nice grassy area at the marina, perfect for a picnic or walking the dog. There is not a lot to do in town, but there is a few restaurants. Also a nice grocery store. (TOMS ) A few little shops but that's about it. Not impressed with the mitten brewery, not nearly as nice as the one in Grand Rapids. We were on the wall, which worked good for us. Did not use the bathrooms/showers, but the building is very nice and appeared to be well cared for.

Great marina , clean and convenient to the downtown. Kyle the dockmaster was friendly and accommodating. I grew up in this town when I was younger and spent a lot of time here with my parents on their boats. Back then it was more of an art town now all of the art galleries have seemed to have gone away and now it's lots of crappy T-shirt shops, which honestly is very unfortunate. They do have great restaurants here. Make sure to go to a place called Phil's, highly recommended. When we were here at Sergeants, we were in slip 53 which is a stern in slip right on the park which was fantastic.

Great spot to stop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good depth in the harbor. Sharp turns getting into the harbor though. Good restaurants and shopping in town. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend "up north 23 " for a restaurant. Excellent food and service.

Great spot nice clean bathrooms, good dockage, 50 amp and 30 amp you can take a short walk into town to a few restaurants and groceries. There's also an ice cream shop. They were able to get us in last minute on July 3. We were quite surprised that they were able to get us a slip, very polite. Easy to work with people definitely recommend.

Wow what a beautiful place !!! One of the very nicest marinas we have been to. This is one of those you got to know someone to get a slip here. They do not really offer transient slips.

We had a great stay here and I would stay here again. When entering the marina from the canal be sure to stick close to the large buildings as the water will be deeper.

Slips were good people were very friendly. Provisions were about six blocks away as were restaurants. We did not use the restaurant on property or restrooms.

They got us in on short notice which was great.

This is a nice location. A little tight at the entrance but not too bad. Docks are good and they have 3 restaurants right there. Really good food. Lots of shopping close by. The dockmaster is great as well. Lots of good info from him. I would stay here again.
