Breakaway was thrilled to find this nugget of security and community as we travelled the loop. Greeted with a smile and help with lines! Many places to eat are within a short walk. While you may not get power, the fact that they are here to allow us weary travelers a place to tie is amazing! Thank you, LogsdonTug??

What a sweet little boat club with the nicest of people! Be aware, however, if you are looking for places within walking distance to visit, this isn't the place. However, everything else is here! Kind people that go out of their way to help and check in with you, ample electric and water and top it all off, the cleanest, nicest pool I've visited along our trek in quite some time! If you do want to venture out, town is only a 3 mile uber ride away. A small ship store is on premises with ice and a few snacks.

It's ok. So many great possibilities but with no one around to help you dock (after told they would be down to help), the deli on premises not open (only Thursdays and Saturdays) and no WiFi (even though she said it was just installed two days ago). We were told take any spot, they all have 50 amps so we chose the far north spot. Wrong! Only 30 amps so moved to the south end on the wall and there's your 50 amps. This is also where the water is with a four-way junction. That's the only water here as well as the self-serve pump out. Pretty sure these would not reach down to the northern end. The dock wall is great in that they have thick rubber bumpers installed along the side, which appear new. Be aware that to access any of the stores or shops. (There are a few. Much of downtown is vacant.) You walk upstairs or use the elevator for the pedestrian walkway over the highway and tracks. Most places including a sweet little independent Italian place, Fresh Basil (deal on two slices with a soft drink for $5.99!), Stewart's, Ace Hardware, a fried chicken place, Dollar General are within a 10-minute walk. This place could easily be five stars with better attention to the details, following through on access and being present.

Very nice protected anchorage. As of today, 7/1/25, diesel is $4.03/gallon, tax included.
