We had to anchor a bit east of this anchor mark due to a mobile oyster farm. When winds are light, the current will decide your direction. Very exposed anchorage, but we had lights winds (mostly) and came up here for the proximity to the airport. From this anchorage, its a 2-mile long dinghy ride to a boat ramp behind Hinckley Yachts that cannot be done below mid-tide. Its only a half-mile walk from the ramp to the airport terminal (where you can get on the Acadia Shuttle). Otherwise no easy shore access. Anchor set well in 10 ft (low tide) of water and chain came up covered in mud.
