This marina is a gem. It is very quiet and is the cleanest marina that we have encountered on the loop. Most slips are covered although they like to put the transients on the uncovered end which suited us because our Starlink continued to work. There are no spiders or webs hanging around and no goose poop to contend with like many marinas. The boats slipped at this marina are clean and well maintained as well. The entrance is well marked and deep so getting in and out is easy. It is a "hands off" marina with no dockhands to help tie up but the current is non-existent so mooring is not a problem from the boat. Fuel prices are reasonable and the pumpout is free with your stay. Walmart delivery will come to the Braxton Condos adjacent to the Marina. Communication is via Dockwa and E-mail so you are well prepared coming in. The price per foot is inexpensive to boot. Definitely plan on stopping here for an overnight or more. You will not regret it.

Welcoming staff and a great spot to stay off the main channel. A great price for the night and a great price for diesel fuel with the ALGCA discount and we filled the water tanks for our next stop, Nashville.

We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and the stores in town were closed but we walked (you can dingy) to the restaurant across the river, The Riverview Restaurant and Marina. They offered a wonderful catfish dinner.
