General/Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges)/Survey Operations From: 2025-11-14 To: 2025-12-31 Location: 38-18-32.004N/075-06-42.588W Pan American Geo-Systems LLC will be performing subsea fiber optic telecommunication cable marine survey and mapping operations in the vicinity of 38-18-32.02N, 75-6-42.58W seaward to approximately 38-18-17.31N, 75-5-47.18W. Operations are expected to take place in the months of November and December 25 and will take approximately three weeks to complete.
The hours of operation for the survey vessels "TYGER" and "FALKI" will be Mon-Sun, 0700 to 1600. Both vessels will have reduced maneuverability and be towing geophysical sensors. The TYGER will be towing a 150-ft yellow, 1"-diameter hydrophone cable and 1-ft diameter white tail buoy. The FALKI airboat will be towing a 160-ft yellow, 1"-diameter hydrophone cable. The vessels can be contacted by calling +1 561 251 5352. Mariners are requested to keep a minimum distance of at least 300 feet from the vessels while towing and not to cross the cables at any time.
