Dredging From: 2025-11-03 To: 2025-12-18 Location: 34-35-48.624N/077-14-34.548W Southwind Construction Corp will conduct dredge operation in Bogue Sound New River in the vicinity of Browns Inlet Crossing and Bogue Sound New River Buoy 60 (LLNR 39217).
Equipment staging and set up will start November 10, 2025 with dredging to start November 16, 2025 to December 15, 2025. Dredging will be conducted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Dredge Wilko and workboats Danny Joe and Elle Renea will monitor Ch 13 & 16 with working channel as 78. Submerged and floating pipeline associated with dredging operation; use extreme caution in the area.
Mariners are urged to transit at the slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. Pipeline and vessels will be visibly lit and marked pursuant to Coast Guard regulations. Submerged pipeline will be positioned parallel along the east shoreline of the AIWW thence traversing southerly then easterly to the Onslow Beach Placement Area. MSI # 31432.
