This October, the docks of Annapolis are set to buzz with more boats, more features, and more reasons to explore. The 2025 Annapolis Powerboat Show, running October 2–5, is shaping up to be the largest in its history—and with expanded dock space, new exhibits, and exciting debuts, it promises a standout experience for boaters and browsers alike.

City Dock Expansion = Bigger Show

Thanks to ongoing redevelopment at Annapolis City Dock, the show footprint has grown for 2025. With construction paused during the event, organizers have reimagined the show layout—opening up a new entrance and extending exhibit space where the former Harbor Master's Office once stood. The result? A more open, inviting flow and room for more than 300 exhibitors and over 400 boats.

In honor of the U.S. Navy's 250th birthday, the U.S. Naval Academy is bringing one of its 108-foot Yard Patrol (YP) Crafts to the show. Typically used by midshipmen for hands-on training in seamanship and navigation, this floating classroom is rarely open to the public. Visitors may explore the ship, meet the crew, and get a taste of how tomorrow's officers learn to lead on the water.

A Boat Show Brewed Beer

Raise a glass for a good cause. Boat Show Brew—a custom-brewed pilsner made in partnership with Pherm Brewing—returns as the official beer of both the Powerboat and Sailboat Shows. Proceeds from the launch party benefit the EYC Foundation's Marine & Maritime career initiatives, helping local students pursue careers in the boating and maritime industries.

World and U.S. Premieres

Lancia Aprea 52, S&J Yachts

New boats making their debuts are a perennial highlight of the show, and this year is no exception. The Monterey Elite 25 OB, making its world premiere with Rhode River Boat Sales, brings a luxurious new twist to the classic bowrider. Sleek lines, a hardtop, and a built-in wet bar make it ideal for cruising in comfort.

Making its U.S. debut is the Italian-crafted Lancia Aprea 52, presented by S&J Yachts. Offered in multiple configurations and capable of speeds up to 52 knots, this 52-footer blends traditional lines with high-end performance.

And for the first time, the Demo Dock will host a 100% electric personal watercraft: the Taiga Orca. Presented by Electrified Marine, this Canadian-made PWC combines high-performance electric propulsion with near-silent operation, offering a fast, low-impact way to explore the water.

Fan Favorites Return

Returning show features include the ever-popular Demo Dock, VIP Experience lounge (hosted by AXOS Bank), free seminars, and BoatUS On-Water Training sessions for hands-on learning. Also returning is Brokerage Cove, sponsored by Yachtr—a water-taxi-access-only exhibit of premium pre-owned powerboats.

Whether you're ready to buy, itching to browse, or just looking for an excuse to hang out on the water, the Annapolis Powerboat Show offers an unforgettable fall weekend in the heart of the Sailing Capital of the U.S.
