| Noteworthy: |
Tie up to east or west of lock on north lock wall. Rural setting, park, but considerable train noise. Shady and pretty. Approximately a ¾ mile walk to Schoharie Crossing across the bridge, where there are remnants of the original Erie Canal complete with a visitor’s center (closed on Tuesday). Note: This lock also suffered substantial damage from Hurricane Irene. Repairs were completed in 2015. The bridge has a clearance of 22'.
