Avoid if you can. Nice friendly staff, but not suitable for smaller boats (as in, not superyachts!). The fixed docks are littered with metal fixings (nuts and bolt heads) which will tear a hole in your boat if your fenders move for even a minute. The wake from the channel during the day is horrendous and bashing into the pilings is going to happen. We ended up with a hole in the side of the boat from an unprotected bolt sticking out the piling. The marina wouldn't accept any responsibility, and when I asked if they could at least cover it up, they never did even after asking multiple times. Anchor out and dinghy in is a much safer option. And considerably cheaper!

I agree with each of the previous reviewers. A beautiful marina with nice amenities and the dock master crew are exceptionally helpful as well very accommodating. Overall this marina has it all. My few observations; if on an end T-dock wakes from passing by boats will rock your vessel a lot. The restaurant Poop Deck foods is okay but there are local places nearby as well a grocery store. The price per foot is high at $3.60 plus tax making it almost $4/ft with electric and water metered, this may bring the price per foot between $4.50 to $5/ft, per day. This goes to the cliche that 'if you have to ask you can't afford it' to buy or in this case stay. I decided to move on after one night.

Outstanding service and amenities. Great gym, restaurant, laundry..Very Secure. Walking distance to marine stores, grocery, liquor. The dock masters are top tier. They go above and beyond.. SO helpful and friendly. I LOVE this Marina !!

Stayed here last year (twice) and they have completed their building renovations. Wow. Really nice waterfront bar & casual gathering spot (in addition to the existing restaurant upstairs). Brand new gym and Dockmaster offices are very well done. John the Dockmaster & Obie are helpful & accommodating as ever. Best to arrive near slack tide if possible unless you are on the face dock or a T head.

We've been staying here since 1987 when coming to Nassau by boat. Good marina, wooden docks but in good condition. Electricity has always been good for us. A lot of current can come through Nassau Harbor, so be ready for that when docking if it's not slack tide. And you can get some rocking in a cold front. You have a nice restaurant on site, and a good marine store right across the street. Bathrooms are okay, and we have found security to be very good in the marina. I wouldn't go anywhere after dark from here, but it's a fun walk to the fish fry shacks under the bridge for lunch.

The Nassau Yacht Haven is the oldest and largest marina in Nassau and we have a rich tradition of welcoming yachtsmen from all over the world. The management and staff at the Nassau Yacht Haven will do their best to continue this tradition and assist you in making your Bahamas experience an enjoyable one. Ice, and a small ship store selling, clothing, souvenirs and convenience items are on site. Ice and Laundry tokens are available from the Dockmaster's office. Electrical and water hookups are available on all of our slips. A laundry room and shower are available next to the dock master's office for guests. 24-hour Security, with gate-controlled access for your safety.

Since 1948, on Nassau's oldest site with a marina, you'll find us on East Bay St in the heart of Nassau Harbour. Our yachting clients enjoy the convenience of many nearby shops, restaurants and marine services. Our marina has been completely renovated with super new amenities including a gym with first class Cybex equipment, a lounge, a new laundry, shower and bathrooms. Our historic building is home to the famous Poop Deck Restaurant. Across East Bay St guests will find Harbourside Marine and Lightbourne's Marine, two of The Bahamas best chandlers and ships' stores. Major repair facilities at Bayshore Marina and Brown's Boat Basin are close, too. It's a short half mile walk to Harbour Bay Shopping Center with Lowe's Pharmacy, Subway, CIBC Bank, Starbucks, Solomon's Fresh Markets for fresh bread, groceries, and imported fine foods and so much more. Only 3/4 mile away is Super Value Food Store on Mackey St. Other shopping nearby includes four liquor stores, and a Pharmacy. Atlantis with the waterpark, casino and 25 restaurants are just 1.5 miles away across the bridge.
